Analog Recording

Analog recording with up to 8 simultaneous tracks with analog mixdown to a stereo master recording can be done with the following equipment:

Tascam 2516 mixer (16 mic, 8 bus); made for use with the TSR8 recorder

Peavey RQ2314 (12 mic, 2 bus) and RQ4324 (24 mic, 6 bus) mixers

Tascam TSR-8 1/2" 8-track 15 ips tape with dBX

Tascam 44OB 1/4" 4-track 15 ips tape with external dBX

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2 channel recording interface

MOTU 8pre 8 channel recording interface

Event 20/20 monitors

Koss ESP-9B and Stax electrostatic headphones

Tape recorders have been professionally serviced and meet Tascam specifications. I have Ampex 1/2" and 1/4" alignment tapes and suitable equipment to ensure proper performance.
